Owner's Manual Tools for Processing Polymeric Optical Fiber (POF)

1. Intended Use

The tools for the processing of polymeric optical fiber (POF) are manufactured by using the latest technology
and the general accepted safety regulations. The tools, depending on the model, are exclusively for processing
polymeric optical fibers with an outer cable diameter of 1,5, 1,8, 2,2 and 2,3 mm and an inner fiber core
diameter of 1,0 mm. The tool may be used, according to their usage requirements, as a cutting tool, a cutting
and stripping tool or as a multifunctional plier to cut, strip and crimp. The tool should be used solely for the
purpose, which it was intended for and defined by RENNSTEIG. Any other use is regarded as improper and
may cause damage to the tools. RENNSTEIG will not assume any responsibility for such damages.
