Safe disposal of batteries
z WOLF-Garten batteries are
designed according to the la-
test state of technology and
optimized for the use in elec-
tric tools. Lithium ion cells
contain hazardous substan-
ces and may therefore not be
disposed off with normal
household waste.
z WOLF-Garten batteries are li-
thium ion cells and are there-
fore subject to special
disposal regulations. Bring
defective batteries to your
specialist dealer. Before dis-
posing of the tool, remove the
battery.
z WOLF-Garten wishes to en-
courage users to act in an en-
vironmentally friendly manner.
It therefore guarantees to take
back and recycle old batteries
that are returned to WOLF-
Garten dealers.

Operation

Charging the battery

Caution! The charger must only be
operated in dry rooms.
z Before using the tool for the first time, charge
the battery.
z Charge time: 4 h = 80 %, 6 h = 100 %
z Use only original WOLF-Garten chargers!
1. Connect the mains cable to the mains socket
(230-240 V~) (1).
2. Insert the charging plug into the charging
socket of the battery-powered shears (2).

General instructions regarding the bat-
tery:
To prolong the service life of the battery,
observe the following instructions:
z The LI-ION POWER RR 2000 is auto-
matically switched off when the battery
voltage is low. In such a case, rechar-
ge the battery.
z The lithium iron battery must also be
recharged before prolonged periods of
non-use, for example at the beginning
of winter.
z The charging time for completely flat li-
thium ion batteries is 6 h.
z The lithium ion battery can be rechar-
ged at any charge level, and charging
can be interrupted and resumed wit-
hout any damage to the battery (no
memory effect).
z In the interest of long battery service
life, the device should not be connec-
ted to the charger longer than is ne-
cessary.
