NOTE
■ MONITOR TERMINALs
• You can check 4 – 20 mA DC signal from a 2-wire transmitter
with the monitor terminals, converted into 1 – 5 V DC voltage
signal with an internal resistor 250 Ω. It is convenient for loop
testing or at abnormal condition. Use the terminals only for
monitoring, not as output.
■ DC CURRENT INPUT (IsOLATOR UsE)
• You can use the M3LDY as isolator with 4 – 20 mA DC input,
without using supply output (terminals 1 and 2) to a 2-wire
transmitter. In this case, do not connect to the terminals 1 and
2, and connect an input device to the terminals 3 and 4 as
shown in the right figure.
• Turn the SW2-7 ON and SW3 OFF.

8.4.2 WIRING OUTPUT

Voltage or current output is provided depending on the output setting.
