11. Carefully reinstall base refractory, removed in step 5,
back into position. Refer to Figure 11.9 for correct
placement.
12. Carefully remove top refractory from packaging and
place into appliance with taper toward the rear. Lift
refractory up so the sides of the top refractory rest on
the left and right side glass and spacers. Apply fi rm
pressure to top refractory leading edge to ensure that
the refractory is fully seated against the back wall of the
appliance. See Figure 11.18.
