Remote controller
Display (LCD), with backlight
• Displays the operating conditions.

• Press any of the operation buttons to light Press any of the operation buttons to light

• Before use, peel off the protection sheet.
AUTO button
Automatically selects an appropriate operation
mode (COOLING or HEATING) based on the
indoor temperature and starts the operation.
OFF button
Stops the operation.

TEMPERATURE button
Adjusts the temperature setting.
FLASH STREAMER AIR PURIFYING
button
• Performs streamer discharge.
Cover
After you open the cover, close it
completely. The buttons on the
cover will not function properly if
the cover is not securely closed.
Notes on remote controller
• Take care to avoid dropping the remote controller or getting it wet. (Dropping or getting it wet may break it.)
• When the remote controller gets dirty, wipe it with a dry soft cloth.
• Signal communication may become poor if an electronic-starter-type fl uorescent lamp (such as inverter-type lamps) or TV is in the room.
Consult the service shop if that is the case.
• The sensitivity may become poor if the transmitter/receiver is exposed to direct sunlight.

Transmitter/Receiver
• Sends/receives signals to/from the indoor
unit.
• The remote controller must be used with the
transmitter/receiver pointed towards the
transmitter/receiver of the indoor unit.
Transmission will fail if there is an
obstruction such as a curtain between the
remote controller and indoor unit.
• The maximum distance for communication is
about 7m.
Direct operation buttons
Starts the COOLING, "SARARA" DRY or
HEATING operation.
POWERFUL button
Increases the airfl ow rate in the COOLING or
HEATING operation.
HUMIDITY button
Adjusts the humidity setting.
FAN button
Adjusts the airfl ow rate setting.
OFF TIMER button
Sets the time until the operation stops.
