When connecting a 10BASE‐T segment to a MGBIC‐02 RJ45 port, ensure that the network
meets the Ethernet network requirements of the IEEE 802.3‐2002 standard for 10BASE‐T.
Refer to the Cabling Guide for details.
Note: The network installation must meet the requirements described in this chapter to
ensure satisfactory performance of this equipment. Failure to do so will produce poor
network performance.
