The AMG5716A8R-DR is a rackmount one channel video receive unit designed to receive 1 video
signal plus 6 Uni-directional alarms and transmit and receive 1 data signal and provides Dual
Redundant operation over two Singlemode optical fibres.
The AMG5716A8R-DR is designed to plug into an AMG2009 or AMG20015 subrack, which in turn fits
into a 19" rack system.
The AMG5716A8R-DR is designed to operate with two AMG5715A7 / AMG5715A7R single channel
video transmit units for Dual Redundant operation in a point to point configuration. The R suffix in the
partno. indicates a rackmount configuration.

    Data Channel Configuration The AMG5716A8R-DR is designed to operate with two AMG5715A7 or AMG5715A7R single channel video transmit units to provide Dual Redundant functionality. Each transmit unit is connected to the receive unit by a separate fibre or pair of optical fibres which carry the Video and Serial data to/from each transmit unit.
