TROUBLESHOOTING

SYMPTOM
Blood pressure is
extremely high or low.
Measured values vary all
the time.
Measured value is
diff erent from that taken
at a hospital.
Infl ation is repeated.

PROBABLE CAUSE
The cuff is not adjusted to your heart.
The cuff is not wrapped appropriately.
Movement or speaking was detected.
Mental and physical condition or
measurement condition is infl uencing blood
pressure.
Mental condition such as nervousness at
a hospital or relaxed feeling at home is
infl uencing blood pressure.
The cuff is infl ated again when the initial
pressure was insuffi cient for blood pressure
to be taken or movement was detected.
Infl ation is repeated until blood pressure
is taken.
Over pressure: blood pressure could not be
taken due to moving or speaking although
the cuff was infl ated to the maximum
pressure.
