Super X11DPT-B User's Manual
I-SATA 3.0 and S-SATA 3.0 Ports
The X11DPT-B supports I-SATA0-5, S-SATA0-5 and I-SATA6 on the motherboard. These
SATA connections are supported by the Intel C621 chipset. I-SATA0-5 and S-SATA0-5, located
at SXB1, are supported by CPU1. I-SATA6 can be used with Supermicro SuperDOMs which
are orange SATA DOM connectors with power pins built in, and do not require external power
cables. Supermicro SuperDOMs are backward-compatible with regular SATA HDDs or SATA
DOMs that need external power cables.
