    EchoNAV User Interface INITIAL INSTALLATION THE INITIAL SETUP MENU-STRUCTURE The EchoNAV User Interface makes use of the MENU, OK and arrow keys on your Remote Control Unit (RCU) to navigate through the Installation setup menu which gives you access to the sub-menus.

THE ADVANCED SETUP MENU-STRUCTURE The EchoNAV User Interface makes use of the MENU, OK and arrow keys on your Remote Control Unit (RCU) to navigate through the Installation setup menu which gives you access to the sub-menus.     User Manual THE ECHONAV USER INTERFACE FAMILIARIZATION The software of the receiver contains the EchoNAV User Interface with on-screen help, which gives you easy control over the features of the receiver. The software also contains a large database of pre-programmed satellites and transponders which is used for a quick installation.

    User Manual THE USER MENU STRUCTURE Green key gives access to the EchoNAV user menu for quick access to the different list and zap functions. NOTE Once in a list, the selections for Group (Yellow key) and Sort (Blue key) are kept until you change the selection.

    EPG offer you program information in advance for a certain period of time. The EPG information is not always available. Sometimes the service provider supplies only the program name, the now/next information or sometimes nothing at all. EchoStar has no influence on this matter.

    The InfoBanner shows the information related to the current channel. The information as shown is not always available. Sometimes the service provider broadcasts only the basic information or just the live content. EchoStar has no influence on this matter.     Digital channels that broadcast in different languages offer you the possibility to choose another language. The broadcast in different languages is not always available, sometimes the service provider broadcasts in one language. EchoStar has no influence on this matter. (Yellow) key shows the Audio pop-up, that gives you the possibility to choose directly from the available alternative audio languages as broadcasted by the service provider.

    EchoNAV User Interface OPERATION HOW TO NAVIGATE The EchoNAV user interface has various ways to navigate through the menus and functions. Some of the keys on the RCU give direct access to functions. Important keys are identified as colored keys, MENU, OK, EPG and EXIT. Other keys are multi-functional which means that their function can change with the selections you make.

When you add a satellite, you have to identify at least one transponder. You only need to change PIDs when your service provider changes these. A digital signal is basically broken up in Video and Audio information which are synchronized with the PCR PID.
