Page 44: To Use The Electronic Program Guide (Epg)
The EPG information is not always available. Sometimes the service provider (who sends the EPG information) supplies only the program name, the now/next infor- mation or sometimes nothing at all. EchoStar has no influence on this matter. Make sure the local time is set otherwise you cannot view EPG information because it needs the correct time (Refer to the Local Time menu). - Page 45 VCR also to the same time as on the receiver. Please refer to the user’s guide of your VCR how to record from a satellite receiver. On quite a lot of VCRs you have to select the so called external channel (E1) NOTE You cannot set a timer in the past or on a program that has already begun.
