7.4 POST Codes

The AMI UEFI BIOS supplies checkpoint codes, which are documented online at
supermicro.com/support/manuals/
When BIOS performs the Power On Self Test, it writes checkpoint codes to I/O port 0080h.
If the computer cannot complete the boot process, the POST codes can be viewed from the
BMC using the Post Snooping function.

7.5 Crash Dump Using the BMC Dashboard

In the event of a processor internal error (IERR) that crashes your system, you may want to
provide information to support staff. You can download a crash dump of status information
using the BMC Dashboard. The BMC manual is available at
manuals/other/BMC_Users_Guide_X12_H12.pdf.
Check Error Log
1. Access the BMC web interface.
2. Click the Server Health tab, then Event Log to verify an IERR error.
In the event of an IERR, the BMC executes a crash dump. You must download the crash
dump and save it.
