4.2.4 Constant Power Mode (CP)

2. Set the working resistance value and press [Enter] to confirm it.
In the constant power mode, the constant power is required for the electronic
load, and the current sinks according to the set power, as shown below. If the
input voltage increases, the input current will decrease to keep the power P (=V
* I) at the set value.

The set current waveform is synchronized with the sinusoidal waveform of the
voltage on the right side of the coordinate axis. PF can be set within ± 1.
Similar to CC Mode, the user can set the PF and CF value in CP Mode. The
user can also select the CF Mode, PF Mode and BOTH Mode. The loading
parameter CF, PF and Pset can be set in the main interface of CP Mode.
Mode setting
The initial default mode of IT8600 electronic load is the "BOTH" mode. This
mode can be set in the same method as in CC Mode. Refer to 4.2.2 "Constant
Current Mode (CC)".
CP parameter setting
The user can press the Up and Down key in the main interface of CP Mode to
select the parameter to be set, including CF, PF and Pset. The user can also
rotate the knob to set the current value or press numeric keys to input the set
value. Follow the CF and PF relation during setting. For details, refer to 4.2.1
"CF and PF setting".
1. Press [Set] to enter the parameter setting interface of CC Mode.
2. Press the soft key corresponding to CP to enter the CP mode setting
interface.
3. Press the Up and Down key to select the parameter to be set.
4. Directly set the present value through the knob or press numeric keys to
input the value. In case of wrong input by numeric keys, press
delete the present input.
