LOCAL ACCESS TO UPC OPEN CONTROLLER
The user can use a BACview
Virtual BACview software as a local user interface to an Open
controller. These items let the user access the controller network
information. These are accessory items and do not come with the
UPC Open controller.
The BACview unit connects to the local access port on the UPC

Open controller. See Fig. F. The BACview software must be run-
ning on a laptop computer that is connected to the local access port
on the UPC Open controller. The laptop will require an additional
USB link cable for connection.

The factory default settings for CCN Element and CCN Bus num-
ber are 1 and 0 respectively.
If modifications to the default Element and Bus number are re-
quired, both the ComfortLink and UPC Open configurations must
be changed.
The following configurations are used to set the CCN Address and
Bus number in the ComfortLink controller. These configurations
can be changed using the scrolling marquee display or accessory
Navigator handheld device.
Configuration→CCN→CCN.A (CCN Address)
Configuration→CCN→CCN.B (CCN Bus Number)
