• The log messages follow this format:
<PRI>ISODATE(sp)MSGHDR:(sp)MSG(new-line)

<PRI>: Facility and Priority number

ISODATE: datestamp in this format: yyyy-mm-
ddThh:mm:ss.mmm+-ZONE

MSGHDR: Message header and [PID]
–
MSG: text of the actual message
