Searching for the DCS Code Used by the Other Station

Search for the DCS code used by the other station.
1. Press and hold the [F menu] key.
2. Rotate the DIAL knob to select [24 SQL.TYP] then
press the DIAL knob.
3. Rotate the DIAL knob to select "DCS".
4. Press the [SQL back] key, then rotate the DIAL
knob to select [25 SQL.COD].
5. Press the DIAL knob.
6. Press and hold the microphone [UP] or [DWN]
switch.
• The transceiver begins searching for a matching DCS code.
• When a corresponding DCS code is detected, the searching stops and the audio is
heard.
7. Press the PTT switch or the [UP] or [DWN] switch to stop searching.
8. Press the DIAL knob to save the detected DCS code and return to normal operation.
