Updating Device Main PCB Firmware
Note: The firmware version is automatically included in the network I/O updater application, to
downgrade the Firmware you will need the previous version of the Network I/O updater application.
1. The main PCB firmware updates should be performed after the Audinate Dante firmware
(.dnt file) has been updated.
2. Connect the device to the PC (running Windows 7, 8 or 10) used to perform software update
via the network using a free port in a network switch.
3. Launch the Network I/O updater application ​ i n administrator mode​ (right click on icon and
select run as administrator).
4. Once the programme has launched you will see this screen:
5. This screen shows the current software version on the device and the required version. If
you need to update the device software to the required version press and hold the ​ U pdate
button until it starts to flash, then the button can then be released.
6. The update progress will be shown via a dialogue box with a progress bar, this update will
take around 10 minutes.
