7.1 Important safety information

Never use force to open the upper loading hatch Never attempt to manually intervene in the
compacting cycle, and never modify or remove any of the safety devices on the press. In the event of
any damage to the ON button, compressed air connections, shut-off valve or door lock, disconnect the
compressed air supply immediately and ensure that unauthorised personnel are not able to put the
press into operation. Failure to do so may lead to severe or fatal injuries.
After a malfunction, the paper press may only be put back into operation once it is certain that all
shortcomings have been rectified. In the event of improper use or failure to comply with the operating
instructions accompanying the press, EMM Deutschland GmbH disclaims all liability, guarantee claims
and claims for compensation. This operating manual must always be kept near the press and must be
readily to hand at all times.
