Sponge Cake - Swann SB22110N Manual

PROGRAMME 10 (CAKE).

Sponge Cake

In a separate bowl recommended
Melted butter
Caster sugar
Eggs
Self raising flour
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
Vanilla essence
Method: Lightly mix in separate bowl then pour into bread pan - don't forget to put
the paddle in first. Crust will be quite dark due to sugar content. Ours turned out
well! No soggy bottoms here!
You can add pieces of dried fruit at the beeps but do keep them light or they might
sink to the bottom!
