below:
Loosen the handle (1), contact washer (2), spring

washer (3) and flat washer (4).
Now pivot the feeding funnel (5) to access the

maintenance of the blades.
TRAPP shredders leave factory with temperate
cutting blades prolonging cutting durability.
Sharpen the cutting blades when the edge is dull.
Whenever sharpening, be careful to remove the
same amount of material from each cutting blade to
keep balance and to avoid vibrations of the axle unit.
The cutting blades shall be substituted whenever
optimum sharpening is no longer possible.
You will notice that the blades have sharp ends
on one side only; sharpen the blades in the same
direction, location and angle according to the
blade model, and following the same conditions.
