For two-stage reduction, install the first reducer near the tank (or at the vaporiser outlet), which reduces pressure to
approximately 1 bar. A second pressure reducer is installed outside, before the boiler room and reduces pressure to
the boiler supply value (usually 300 mm.W.C. = 0,03 bar). For natural gasification, the first-stage regulator must be
installed so that any condensate discharges into the tank.

PRESSURE REDUCTION FOR BURNER OR BOILER
NOTES ON USE OF PROPANE (L.P.G.)
It is necessary to protect this pressurereducer whith a proper filter in order to
avoid that any impurities, unexpectedly, reach the reducer thus endangering the
correct working.
It is impostant to point out that the usual filters do not have a cartridge (filter
element) enough resistent to this pressure. We can recommend, as a sugges-
tion, to use a common "steam filter" for it is provided with a filter element suitable
to undergo very hight pressure, see the fig. . Use a filter having at leat the same
size as the diameter of the gas intake tube. It is also necessary to point out that
the usual gas filter must be installed near the burner.
