Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean
there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you
can correct the malfunction.

Conducting improper repairs to the
dishwasher puts the person carrying
out the repairs and the user in danger.
Only authorised specialists may

repair the dishwasher. If in doubt,
contact our service department
(see page EN-38).
Only carry out the actions which are

described in this user manual.
Never repair defective dishwashers

– or dishwashers which you presume
to be defective – yourself. You can en-
danger yourself and subsequent users.
Problems with operation
Problem
The dishwasher cannot be
switched on.
The selected dishwashing
programme will not start or it
stops.
The display
(13) is
illuminated although dish-
washer salt has been added.

NOTICE

Improper handling of the dishwasher
can lead to property damage and to
damage to the dishwasher.
If water overfl ows, switch off the wa-
■
ter supply immediately and then con-
tact the service team (see page E N-38).
If the water has overfl owed, remove
■
any water standing in the dishwasher
before relaunching a dishwasher pro-
gramme.
Possible cause
The mains plug has not been
inserted into a socket.
There is no voltage being
supplied through the socket.
The dishwasher door is not
properly closed.
The water tap is not on
properly.
The inlet hose is defective.
There is a risk of overflowing.
The aqua stop system has
been activated.
The dishwasher salt is
clumpy.

Solution
Insert the mains plug into the
socket.
Check the fuse. Check the
socket by connecting another
device.
Close the dishwasher door.
Turn the water tap on
completely.
Contact our Service Centre
(see page EN-38).
Stir the dishwasher salt using
the end of a spoon or similar.
