Troubleshooting

This section contains important information on fault identification and rectifica-
tion. Follow the instructions to avoid hazards and damage.

Fault causes and remedies

The following table will help you to identify and rectify minor malfunctions. If the
solutions presented below do not resolve the problem, please contact Customer
Service (see section "Service").
Fault
The appliance does
not emit steam.
The appliance emits
only a very small
amount of steam.
Water is dripping out
of the openings in the
steam head
The appliance takes
a long time to heat
up and/or white
particles are coming
out of it.

not switched on.
The steam hose
is blocked.
The water tank

Make sure that the appliance is
properly connected to the pow-
er supply and press the On/Off

60 seconds after switching on.
Never use the garment steamer
in a horizontal position. Hold
the steam hose
and wait until the condensa-
tion has flowed back into the
appliance.
