Series Operation

Up to 2 units with the same rating (voltage and current) can be used in series to increase the output voltage.
Connect Main Output in series (as shown).
Diodes should be connected in parallel with each unit output to prevent reverse voltage. Each diode should be
rated to at least the power supply rated output voltage and output current.
Connect as shown: +Sense of positive unit and –Sense of negative unit (twisted pair) to Load point, or to +V
and –V accordingly for Local Sense.
In case PMBus is used, Connect PMBus signals in parallel (PMBus is isolated from Output), and choose different
address for each unit (see section 5.1.3).
Output Voltage can be adjusted independently for each unit.
Controls Monitoring signals and +12V AUX are referenced to "SIGNAL RETURN" and may be connected in
parallel.
