    Setup External Motor Chokes External Motor Chokes The ESCON 70/10 features built-in motor chokes that are suitable for most motors and applications. Nevertheless, in case of high power supply voltage +V in combination with high continuous output cur- rent and a motor with very low inductance, the current ripple will become too high. This will cause unnecessary motor heating and unstable control behavior.
