Check the following if you cannot connect the unit to the network.
•
If the orange LED on the LAN connector ( ) does not light.
–
The unit is turned on.
–
The unit is not in sleep mode.
–
The unit is correctly connected to a router or hub with the LAN cable.
–
The LAN cable or LAN connector is not damaged.
•
If the LED (green) of the LAN connector ( ) is blinking.
–
Check the settings with the Network Setting Tool.

10.3.2 Configuring wireless LAN settings

•
As for simple AP mode, refer to "4.2.3.1 Simple AP mode" (page 23).
1.
Check that the wireless LAN ON/OFF switch has been turned ON.
•
If the wireless LAN ON/OFF switch is off, turn on the switch (page 18).
2.
Start Network Setting Tool.
3.
Select [Wireless LAN (Station mode)] as the connection method for the scanner.
•
Display the current settings.
4.
Click [Date & Time], and then set the date and time. → [OK]
5.
Click [Change].
6.
Select the configuration method from the following, and then configure the network settings follow the
instructions on screen.
–
[Search and Select an Access Point]
–
[Enter Wireless LAN Settings Manually]
7.
Click [OK].
