SAFETY RULES

EN
Your swimming pool contains a large amount of water and is deep enough to pose a
significant danger to life and health if the following safety rules are not strictly ob-
served. Those who use the pool for the first time are at greatest risk of injury. Make
sure everyone knows the safety rules before entering the pool.
Warning: Do not modify the pool or make any interventions in the construction
of the assembled and filled pool. This can result in the pool collapsing or even in
serious injury.

1. No jumping into the pool or diving head-first
The top rail of the wall of your pool is not a footbridge and must not be
used for jumping or diving head-first into the pool. Do not allow jum-
ping or diving head-first into the pool from the pool ladder or from the
top rail of the pool wall. Jumping or diving head-first into the swimming
pool can result in serious injury or death by drowning.
2. Never use the pool on your own
Never allow the pool to be used if not attended by at least one person
outside of the pool. There must always be someone available to help in
case of danger.
3. Never leave children unattended
Never leave a child alone or unattended in or near the pool - not even
for a second.
4. No "romping"
Do not allow "frolicking" in or around your pool. The surfaces can be
slippery and be dangerous when wet. Any movement on the top rail of
the pool is not allowed.
5. Light up the pool at night
If the pool is used after dark, adequate lighting must be provided. The
lighting of the pool area must be sufficient so that the depth of the
pool can be correctly assessed and all elements in and around the pool
can be seen clearly. Consult the lighting with an expert.
6. Restrict the access to the pool
Do not leave chairs or other furniture next to the pool that a child could
use to enter the pool. The pool ladder must be removed whenever the
pool is left unattended. A fence around the pool and a lockable gate are
highly recommended. Some legislation may require them.
7. No alcohol or drugs
Alcohol or drug use is incompatible with pool activities. Persons who
drank alcohol or used any drug should not be allowed into the pool and
should be carefully observed when in the adjacent area.
8. Keep your pool clean and sanitary
The water in the pool must be regularly filtered and chemically treated
to be made safe. Use a suitable filter unit to remove dispersed particles
and suitable pool chemicals according to their instructions to kill harm-
ful bacteria and prevent the formation of algae. Remember that unheal-
thy water is a serious health risk.
