ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

POOL SITE SELECTION AND
GROUND PREPARATION

POOL SITE SELECTION

1. PREPARE THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT
Before starting the assembly of the pool, prepare the necessary tools and equip-
ment. You will need:
• spade, pickaxe, rake, shovel and wheelbarrow for moving soil and sand;
• a wooden prism about 5 x 5 cm in length larger than half the diameter of the
pool, a wooden peg, a bag of flour or fine sand, etc., a ball of string, a knife, a spi-
rit level, a tape measure, a hammer and nails for preparing a flat surface;
• sifted dredged sand to level the surface and create an earth mound;
• cross-point and flat-head screwdriver, combination pliers, textile adhesive tape
(for carpets), knife, clothes pegs for assembling the pool.
We recommend assembling the pool ladder before installing the pool. It will be use-
ful during the assembly of the pool, when it is necessary to enter and exit the pool
across the assembled wall. Instructions for assembling the ladder can be found in
the pool ladder package.
2. CHOOSE A SUITABLE DAY FOR THE ASSEMBLY OF YOUR
SWIMMING POOL
Wait with the assembly of the swimming pool for a sunny, windless day. Do not try
to set up your pool on a windy day. Get help from at least one adult.
Approximate installation time, excluding landscaping, is about 3-4 hours.
3. TERRAIN
Take special care when choosing the right place for your pool:
• Choose an area with the appropriate dimensions, as flat and horizontal as possi-
ble.
• Choose an all-day-long sunny place with dry and firm soil - do not build the pool
on asphalt, gravel, wood, on a heaping up, waterlogged area, on a peat bog or
above underground spaces, such as water tanks, septic tanks, canals, etc.
• Make sure that no plants are growing in this area that could grow through the
liner of your pool. If this is the case, then we recommend treating the site with
a total herbicide (according to the instructions) well in advance of the landsca-
ping, or laying a black garden foil under the body of the pool during its assembly.
• Sloping surfaces will need to be adjusted to be horizontal by digging away higher
spots, not building up the lower side by padding it with earth.
