POOL WATER CARE
The water in the pool is polluted not only by visible impurities (dust, leaves, sand,
branches...), but also by microorganisms (bacteria, algae, fungi and viruses). Even
after bathing, each user of the pool will bring into the pool an incredible amount of
dirt, sweat, hair, oil from the skin and residues of cosmetic and sunscreen products.
An unshowered and unbathed person will bring an incredible 600 million to 3.5 billi-
on bacteria, germs and viruses into the water. These form an ideal breeding ground
for other bacteria, algae, fungi and viruses. Therefore, the water must be treated
regularly to ensure permanent bacteriological and health safety.
