LINER AND TOP RAIL INSTALLATION

Note: If you will be using a filter device together with the pool, it will be necessary
to perform part of the pool skimmer installation before applying the liner. Read
and follow the relevant instructions for installing the skimmer. Instructions can be
found in the skimmer package.
1. PLACE THE LINER IN ITS PLACE
a. Open the carton containing the liner. Do not use anything sharp to open the box.
b. Unwrap and unfold the li-
ner and spread it out in the
sun to warm it. Inspect the
entire surface of the liner
and all seams for holes.
c. Spread the liner [7] in the
pool (see Fig. 3-11) so
that the face of the seam
(pattern) is laying upwards.
The arched seam should be
in the middle of the round
earth mound. The other
seams will form straight
lines across the bottom of
the pool.
d. Smooth out any wrinkles
on the liner on the bottom
of the pool.
2. ATTACH THE LINER
TO THE WALL
a. Pull the liner [7] over the
edge of the wall [1] and
temporarily secure it in
place with several plastic
clamping rails [6] or clothes
pegs. Leave the liner han-
ging loose for now. Do not
stretch the liner too much.
b. Start filling the pool with water. As the pool
is being filled, smooth out any wrinkles and
smooth the liner from the centre of the pool
in circles toward the wall. Never press on the
liner with too much force or pull on it. Proceed
quickly, because even a few centimetres of
water can press the liner to the ground so
that it will not be possible to move it without
damage. At the same time, always make sure
that the arc seam remains approximately in
the middle of the earth mound (see Fig. 3-11).
