Blade preparation
1. Carefully remove the protective cover (1) from the blades (2).
2. Press the safety lever (4) and the safety latch (17) in order to unlock the blade adjusting
handle (16). Move the blades (2) in operating position.
3. Let go of the safety lever (4) and the safety latch (17) in order to lock the blades (2) in place.
Activation and deactivation
1. Connect the power cord (12) to a suitable power socket or extension cord.
2. In order to start the device, release the switch lock (10) and keep pressing the trigger (13). Be-
ware that the device will immediately operate at full speed.
3. To turn the device off, simply stop pressing the trigger (13).
Rod adjustment
1. Release the rod (11) by pushing the lock (9) forward.
2. The rod (11) can now either be turned left or right.
3. Re-lock the rod (11) by returning the lock (9) to its initial position.
Lubrication
Warning:
The gearbox heats up during operation. Do not touch it during or immediately after the
device has been operated as this might lead to burns. Allow the gearbox to cool down before lubricat -
ing it.
The gearing should be lubricated after every 25 hours of operation. Use the grease nipple (18) in order
to properly lubricate it.
