This operation manual contains information about the pole pruner accessory of the 4-in-1
multi-function garden tool. Please make sure to carefully read the information and instruc-
tions contained within this document as well as the respective operation manuals of the other
accessories (see above and below).

Upon receipt, the device should be removed from its package and checked for completeness.
Intended use
This device was designed for the sole purpose of cutting tree branches with a diameter of up to
15 cm. Any use deviating from this may cause damage to the device as well as its surroundings and
may lead to severe injuries. This device must not be used by children or individuals with reduced phys-
ical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and/or knowledge. Adolescents over the age
of 16 may use the device if they have received instructions concerning the use of the device from and
are being supervised by a person familiar with the product and responsible for their safety. Children
have to be supervised at all times in order to ensure that they do not play with it.

Workplace safety
Always keep your working area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or insufficiently lit working areas
increase the risk of accident.
Do not operate the device in explosive environments or in the vicinity of flammable sub -
stances, liquids, gases, or dusts. The use of this device may create sparks that could poten-
tially ignite gases or dust.
Keep bystanders away from the working area while operating the device, as distractions may
lead to a loss of control.
Always make sure to abide by local laws and regulations concerning the use of power tools.
Electric safety
The power plug of the device has to match the power socket and must not be altered in any
way. Matching sockets and original plugs minimise the risk of electric shock.
Do not use adapter plugs with earthed power tools.
Avoid physical contact with earthed objects and surfaces such as pipes, stoves or refrigerat-
ors. An earthed body increases the risk of electric shock, when working with a power tool.
Keep this tool safe from moisture, rain as well as other sources of water. Water permeating
the device will damage it and greatly increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not pull at the power cord of the device and do not abuse it to lift, carry or hold the device.
