Handle
1. Place the handle in a comfortable position on the extension rod and lightly fasten it with the
help of screws.
2. Pick the device up and make any necessary adjustments to the position of the handle until an
ideal position is found.
3. Secure the handle by tightly fastening the screws in order to prevent it from moving uninten-
tionally.
Chain oil
Note:
This device is delivered without oil. Make sure to fill chain oil into the tank (4) of the device be-
fore using it for the first time. During its first operation, make sure to check the oil-level after 20 min, as
the device might require more oil. If necessary, refill the oil in order to guarantee a proper lubrication of
the chain. After the initial operation, check the oil level regularly and use the oil level indicator inside
the oil tank in order to plan the refilling of the device.
Do not forget to carefully remove the blade cover before the device is operated.
Handling
This device was designed for the purpose of cutting small to medium size branches with a maximum
diameter of 15 cm. Abide by the following information in order to achieve ideal work results.
Always make sure to plan the cuts before beginning the actual cutting process.
It is important to consider the direction in which the branch is going to fall.
even if cut appropriately, branches do not always fall the way that they are expected to. There-
fore make sure to always keep a safe distance from the branch that you want to cut.
When using the device, do not operate it in an angle exceeding 60°.
Always operate the device with both hands, and do not rush.
When planning on cutting multiple branches, make sure to start with the lower ones and slowly
work your way up.
