Only use the insulated gripping surfaces to hold and operate the device, since its blades and
metallic parts might make contact with hidden current sources or its own power cord. Making
contact with a live power source involves the risk of electric shock.
Always make sure to keep cables away from the blades of the device. Keep track of the power
cord of the device as well as nearby cables in order to avoid cutting them by accident.

Residual risk

Even when handling this device according to the instructions found in this operation manual, a certain
residual risk will remain. The following hazards may occur in connection to the construction or specific -
ations of the device:
Operating the device may cause lung damage if a dust or protective mask is not worn.
Operating the device may cause hearing damage if ear protection is not worn.
Operating the device may cause health damage due to vibrations if the device is operated for
a long period of time or has not been maintained or operated correctly.

ively or actively affect medical implants. In order to avoid severe and even lethal injuries, it is advised
for individuals with implants to consult their doctor before operating the device.

Installation of the extension rod
Only make adjustments while the device has been turned off and disconnected from its power supply.
1. Connect the extension rod (5) to the device by letting it slide into the rod.
2. Fix it in place by turning the lock screw (15).
3. Secure it by inserting the safety pin (6).
