8. RS232 control
Connect the RS232 port to control MultiSwitch 41 4K60 e. g. from a media control system using a
suitable RS232 cable.
The below command lists are used to control the switcher.
RS232 Communication protocol:
• Baud rate: 9600
• Data bit: 8
• Stop bit: 1
• Parity bit: none
Note:
• Please remember to end the commands with the termination symbols "." or ";"
• Please type the command carefully due to case-sensitive
• Using a PC based software like Hterm or Docklight could be helpful for the initial setup and
troubleshooting
8.1 Device control
As soon as the status of the MultiSwitch 41 4K60 changes (e. g. by pressing a button), it will send the
related feedback via RS232.
