    I. Disconnecting the Power 1. Turn off the computer using the Power button (see Figure 1-2). Figure 1-2 2. Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet 1 and computer 2 (see Figure 1-3). Failure to disconnect the power from the computer may result in personal injury.
  • Page 6 II. Opening the Side Access Panel 1. Remove the screw 1 securing the side access panel. Locate the latch 2 directly below the screw, press down, and hold in the down position (see Figure 2-1). You do not have to replace the screw securing the side access panel.
  • Page 7 III. Removing the Upper Front Panel and CD Storage Door (Lower Front Panel) 1. Locate the lock securing the upper front panel to the front of the chassis. The lock is located on the base of the lower 3.5" diskette drive cage inside the chassis. Rotate the lock to the down position to unlock the upper front panel (see Figure 3-1).

  • Page 13 V. Replacing the Side Access Panel Align the tabs on the top and bottom of the side access panel with the slots (located on the top and bottom edge) of the chassis and slide the side access panel into place (see Figure 5-1).
