The telephone interfaces G3-TEL (for GE 300) and G8-TEL (for GE 800) can be used for the following
functions:
Audio-dialler mode (
 The auto-dialler mode can be used to transfer call requests and input messages (control desk calls)
to the public telephone network.
 The telephone numbers and the order in which telephone numbers are dialled can be configured as
desired.
 For the calling Intercom station and the called telephone, different voice messages can be switched
on.
 By dialling the telephone interface, it is possible to dial into the Intercom Server from any telephone
within the telephone network. By doing this, Intercom functions can be carried out with the DTMF
keyboard of the telephone.
Telephone mode (
 After the number of the telephone interface has been dialled, any desired telephone number in the
public telephone network can be called from an Intercom station.
 By dialling the telephone interface, it is possible to dial into the Intercom Server from any telephone
within the telephone network. By doing this, Intercom functions can be carried out with the DTMF
keyboard of the telephone.
