Press and hold the Video and Audio buttons
simultaneously to turn on Lock mode 2 or to
toggle between mode 1 and mode 2.

Performing a system reset from the front panel

The front panel reset is identical to the
"Programmer's Guide").
N System reset does not replace user-installed firmware.
A system reset:
• Clears all ties and presets
• Clears all audio or RS-232 mutes
• Resets all output pre-peaking to off
• Sets all audio/RS-232 wire pair inputs to audio
• Sets all TP input audio levels to unity gain (+0 dB)
• Sets all local output volume levels to 100% (0 dB of attenuation)
N The system reset clears most image and audio adjustments. If you want to save
these settings, use the Windows-based Matrix Switchers Control Program and
the File > Save MATRIX settings as... selection before you perform this reset
(See chapter 5, "Matrix Software").
Reset the switcher to the factory default settings by pressing and holding the
Video button and Audio button while you apply AC power to the switcher
(figure 3-62).
Press and hold the Video and Audio buttons
while you apply power to the switcher.
VIDEO AUDIO
The switcher's LEDs blink and then go dark.
Continue to hold the Video and Audio buttons until all
input and output LEDs return to the unlit state and the
Video and Audio LEDs turn on.
Release the Video and Audio buttons.
