9.2 How to protect settings from unauthorized access

Select 'Password' in the settings menu if you want to protect the instrument
settings with a PIN. An option panel with the possibilities "ON" and "OFF"
will be displayed. Selecting "ON" will enable the PIN-protection.
After enabling the PIN-protection a numerical pad will appear. Enter a
4-digit PIN and confirm by pressing
the next attempt to change the settings.
Attention:
A forgotten PIN can not be reconstructed. Only a complete reset of the
instrument will delete the PIN-protection. This will result in loss of all
results and settings!

9.3 How to turn the printer on and off

Selecting 'Printer' in the settings menu will bring up an option panel.
Choose the desired option and confirm.

9.4 How to enable and disable acoustic signals

Select "Sound" in the settings menu to enter the settings for acoustic
signals.

9.4.1 Acoustic confirmation of user inputs

In the preprogrammed settings all user inputs are confirmed with an
acoustic signal. Disable or enable these signals by choosing "ON" or "OFF"
in the box 'Touch'.
