Installing the Simpl eTap Occu pancy Sensor
The SimpleTap Occupancy Sensor can be surface mounted using screws,
double-sided tape, or Velcro
The recommended mounting location is on the ceiling.
Surface Mount Using Scr ews
Use the appropriate screws and anchors for the surface. Screws and anchors
are not included.
Step 1: Gently insert a small flat blade screwdriver between the Sensor and
mounting plate and separate the two.
Step 2: Use the mounting plate as a guide to mark the mounting holes on the
ceiling.
Step 3: Drill the required mounting holes.
Step 4: Install anchors (if required).
Step 5: Attach the mounting plate with screws (not included).
Step 6: Attach the Sensor to the mounting plate. Ensure the link button hole
aligns with the button.
