Installation Instructions
1.
Installation must be carried out by qualified technicians authorized or recognized by German Pool.
2.
Please tear off the protective film on the body of the range hood before installation.
3.
Plug in and check that all switches are functional before installation.
4.
For efficient air extraction, avoid opening too many windows surrounding the range hood. (Fig. 1)
5.
Install the range hood directly above the stove. (Fig. 2)
6.
The installation of the range hood should remain horizontal and level, in order to prevent oil from
spilling over from oil collectors. (Fig. 3)
7.
The installation height is measured vertically from center of fan guard to the top of the stove.
Recommended height is 650-700 mm. (Fig. 4)
8.
The range hood exhaust pipe is 6 inches. If using exhaust duct (optional accessory), duct must
match the diameter of the vent connector of the range hood (ie. 6 inches).
9.
To reduce the risk of fire, only metallic duct must be used.
10. The length of the exhaust duct should be minimized to avoid creating air turbulence inside the
duct. Short and straight duct runs will provide the most air flow.
11. The lampblack from the range hood must not be discharged into a chimney that is used for
exhausting fumes from other appliances burning gas or other fuels.
12. The exhaust duct must be vented to the outdoors.
