Upgrading to tpc software v2.6 or higher

NOTE: Alternatively, if your FTP application does not offer this remote feature for remote
communication, you can:
a.
Leave the TPC application by selecting the "STOP" icon on the TPC's About menu (this requires
a service login).
b.
Then navigate to the TPC's Install directory.
Select the TPCInstaller.exe icon.

Click OK to start the installation on your TPC. The Install.log file will also be created in the same

directory—consult as desired for status and diagnostics.
Wait 5 min following the termination of the remote access upgrade of "TPCInstaller.exe". This will

ensure that the upgrade is complete. Complete the following to verify that the upgrade has been
successful:
Remote Verification-Reconnect to the TPC using a remote connection and a Serial Command Utility
(NetTerminal). Send the "(SST? 4 0)" Command using the Serial Command Utility.
Local Verification-Navigate to the About tab to verify that the software upgrade was successful.
If necessary, restore the backups.dat files from your PC to the \IPSM directory on the TPC. This should

only be required if your TPC configuration is lost.
