(f) ODOMETER ALTERATION. Warranty coverages do not
apply if the odometer has stopped, and not been promptly
repaired/replaced, or been altered, or the car's correct mile-
age cannot accurately and easily be determined.
(g) EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM. This Limited Warranty
excludes the emission control system, the Federal and
California warranties for which are detailed on pages 177
through 194.
(h) NON-LOTUS PARTS. If any non-Lotus part is fitted, such
part is not covered by the Limited Warranty. Further, any
original part affected or damaged by the fitment or usage of
such non-Lotus part will not be covered by the Limited War-
ranty. Provided, however, that if such non-Lotus part is fitted
by an authorised Lotus dealer as part of a warranty repair
under this Limited Warranty, the foregoing exclusion shall
not apply. Such non-Lotus part may or may not be covered
by a warranty from someone other than Lotus in connection
with the sale of that particular part.
(i) OFF-ROAD OR TRACK-USE PARTS. If any after-market
or original Lotus off-road or track use part is fitted to your car
(for example, the Lotus Launch Control, available as a factory
option), such part is not covered by the Limited Warranty,
regardless of from whom it was purchased. Such parts may
or may not be covered by a warranty from someone other
than Lotus in connection with the sale of that particular part.
Any original Lotus part affected or damaged by the fitment or
usage of such off-road or track-use part will not be covered
by your Limited Warranty. Please see Lotus Policy Statement
on Track and Competitive Use.
(j) COMPETITIVE USE OF VEHICLE. Claims arising from
using your car in racing, reliability trials, or otherwise in com-
petition, including timed runs or laps, or the use of Launch
Control, will not be covered by the Limited Warranty. Please
see Lotus Policy Statement on Track and Competitive Use.
(k) WIND NOISE AND WATER INGRESS. Minor wind noise
and minor water ingress from the hard or soft top roofs.
