System communication
The RVP 3900 communicates with the REGARD 3900/3910
via the REGARD 3900 Modbus gateway SC00083. The
REGARD 3900/3910 systems are assigned to the RVP 3900
by defining the Modbus address in the gateway, as the
following table shows using an example:

Addressing is done by means of the CD-ROM and
configuration cable enclosed with the gateway. There is a
configuration tool on the CD-ROM for setting. The settings are
uploaded to the gateway via the configuration cable.

REGARD 3900 Modbus gateway (SC00083).

The Dräger RVP 3900 automatically starts the digital
visualisation app after it is switched on. After being switched
on, the data of the first REGARD 3900/3910 system connected
is always displayed.

If no system has been activated yet, the main menu starts after
the user has logged in (see section 6.1). Depending on the
user's access rights, basic system settings can be made via
the main menu (see section 6.2.4).
If a configuration has already been performed, the startup
screen appears. The startup screen provides access to the
main menu (1), system selection (3), event history (4), user
selection (5) and the touch button "Horn off" or
"Acknowledgement" (6).
The info screen can be accessed via the Dräger logo (2).
