4. Insert the distance piece (3) into the rear insulation
(5) and fix it onto the wall using the enclosed screw
Ø 8x100 (spanner size 12) and washer.
5. Mount the station (1) into the insulation (5) and fix
it into the wall using the enclosed screw Ø 8x100
(spanner size 12) and washer.
6. Screw the safety group (6) with the corresponding
collar nut and seal onto the return ball valve. Mount
the discharge pipe of the safety valve towards the
collection basin and the connection pipe of
the safety group towards the expansion tank
(installation discharge pipe see also point 6.2 –
Safety valve).
7. Connect the pipework of the solar circuit to the
upper and lower connection. Hold firm while
tightening.
8. Connect the cables of the pump to the control
according to the separate installation instructions
of the solar plant manufacturer.

The electrical connection has to be carried out
according to the legal requirements
9. Flush the solar plant thoroughly by opening
the check valve in the supply line (slot in vertical
position). Fill the solar plant with solar liquid and
carry out leakage test.
10. Before initial operation set the check valve to
operating position (slot in horizontal position).

11. The high-efficiency pump is controlled by a PWM
signal which is provided by the solar controller.
The pump capacity is determined by the control
signal of the controller. This signal depends on
the temperature difference between the collector
and storage cylinder sensors. Hydronic regulation
can be carried out with the help of the adjustment
screw at the flow measuring device (see point 6.3).
12. Mount the front insulation (4) and insulate the
supply and return pipes up to the thermal
insulation.

7 Operation

7.1 Bleeding the system
Before initial operation, the system must be filled
and bled with due consideration of the permissible
operating pressures.
7.2 Correction factors for mixtures of water and
glycol
The correction factors of the manufacturers of the
antifreeze liquids have to be considered when setting
the flow rate.

8 Accessories

The couplings for the connection of the pipework have
to be ordered separately.

9 Maintenance

The station is maintenance-free.
Tightness and function of the station and its
connection points have to be checked regularly during
maintenance. The station must be easily accessible.
