Press button 1 briefly to
display current setting.
To set the damping rate:
Repeatedly press button 1
briefly until the desired setting
is displayed.
NOTICE
The damping cannot be adjusted
while the motorcycle is being
ridden.
The following settings are avail-
able:
ROAD
: damping for comfort-
able riding on roads
DYNA
: damping for dynamic
riding on roads
ENDURO
: damping for off-
road riding. Is only available in
ENDURO ENDURO
the or
PRO
riding modes and can not
be adjusted further in these
riding modes.
To set the spring preload:
Starting engine ( 101).
Press button 1 briefly to
display the current setting of
the chassis and suspension.
Repeatedly press and hold but-
ton 1 until the desired setting
is displayed.
NOTICE
The spring preload cannot be
adjusted while the motorcycle is
being ridden.
NOTICE
Use the MAX setting only when
riding off-road.
The following settings are avail-
able:
MIN
: minimum spring preload
AUTO
: automatic adjustment
of the spring preload
MAX
: maximum spring preload
If button 1 is not pressed
for an extended period, the
damping action and the spring
preload will be adjusted to the
displayed settings.
The D­ESA display flashes dur-
ing the adjustment to
MAX
.
The D-ESA display disappears
once the setting procedure has
been completed.
In the loading mode
the spring preload is only ad-
justed after driving off.
