Installing the Corvallis with the 534, 3 pc slip kit &
Clearview Front
Installing the Corvallis with the 534
Horizon/Clearview requires the use of
the JSUR10 3 pc slip kit, and is identical
to the
instructions for the Ventana in
the preceeding pages, except for the
length of the side slips. These are cut
down to 29 3/4", as opposed to the 30
1/2" for the Ventana. [The cutting mark
is indicated on the back of the side
slips.]
Installing the Corvallis with the Windsor Front
The front of the Windsor plate must be
installed 2 7/8" away from the wall, in
order to fit against the back of the leg.
Again, it is prudent to do a dry run
before beginning to install the wall
brackets to ensure that the firebox sits
in the correct position relative to the
hearth and other mantel components.

If you are going to use the Windsor with
the
530
firebox,
Fenderfire front with the 534– then you
will not require the 4 pc slip kit. The 530
firebox must be installed so that it is 2"
from the finished floor, and will rest
upon the hearth. This applies to any of
the backpanels FOT supplies.
