Now secure the two 'L' foot brackets to
the bottom of the vertical side brackets,
making sure that the overall height of
the frame created is 51".
Set this bracket frame up against the
wall, centering it on the fireplace, and
make sure that the horizontal bracket is
level and centered on the fireplace.
It is crucial that the upper horizontal
bracket be securely fixed onto the avail-
able wall studding. But because the open-
ing in the chase runs above the bottom
of the horizontal bracket, it can only be
secured into position at each end. Secure
this with the appropriate length screws.
