Maintenance

Regularly check the lawn and edge trimmer for obvious shortcomings such
as loose attachments and worn or damaged components.
Only use original spools. Replace defective parts with original parts only.

Cleaning and Storing

Remove the battery from the unit.
Thoroughly clean the motor housing of the lawn and edge trimmer with a
soft brush or a cloth. Do not use water or detergents for cleaning. Prefera-
bly clean the housing of the trimmer after each use in order to remove
dried grass effectively.
Store the lawn and edge trimmer in a try place and protect the trimmer
from dust and dirt. Keep the lawn and edge trimmer out of reach of chil-
dren and remove the battery from the trimmer if not in use.
Charge the battery before each use. When large areas are to be cut,
preferably order a replacement battery in order to be able to work continu-
ously.
