Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following
safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed
to use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
Please read the manual completely and observe all safety notes
before operating the unit!
Keep bystanders out of the working area. Do
not leave the lawn and edge trimmer unat-
tended after use. Do not operate the trimmer if
children or pets are close to the unit.
Use the lawn and edge trimmer only for the intended use to cut grass
around flower beds and along sidewalks and trimming young shoots of
leaves and bushes that cannot be reached by the lawn mover. The lawn
and edge trimmer is not designed for professional use.
Do not expose the lawn and edge trimmer to rain. If possible, do
not operate the unit to cut wet grass.
Before using, check the lawn and edge trimmer for any damaged parts
and do not use the lawn and edge trimmer if damages are detected.
Wear suitable clothing and use safety goggles and hearing
protection.
Make sure to have a safety stand when operating the lawn
and edge trimmer. Do not operate the lawn and edge trimmer with sandals
or barefoot. Always wear sturdy shoes and long trousers.
The cutting line cutter is sharp. Keep fingers, hair, clothing and
similar objects away from the cutting elements. Careful handling
with the lawn and edge trimmer reduces the risk of injury.
Do not attempt to remove cut material from the cutting area or to hold
material to be cut while operation. A moment of inattention while operating
the lawn and edge trimmer may result in serious personal injury.
Charge the battery of the lawn and edge trimmer only with the included
charger. Do not charge other devices with this charger.
Only charge, operate and store the battery at an ambient temperature
between 0ºC and 50ºC.
Do not disassemble burn or short-circuit batteries.
Should the unit become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by a
professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disas-
semble the lawn and edge trimmer or try repairing it yourself.
